Site Analysis

Each project begins with a detailed review of the existing architecture and topography. This information is translated into a three-dimensional model of the site, providing a comprehensive understanding of its opportunities and constraints before the design phase begins.

Design Development

  • Hardscape Design – The built structures and surfaces that establish the framework of the landscape. Hardscaping defines circulation, anchors outdoor living areas, and sets the visual tone for the space.
  • Softscape Design – The living, organic components of the landscape. Plantings bring texture, movement, and seasonal variation, softening and complementing the hardscape elements.

Hardscape concepts are incorporated into the 3D model to provide a clear and accurate representation of the proposed design. Once approved by the client, the softscape design is developed, typically presented as a two-dimensional plan with plant palettes and spatial arrangements.

Installation

Installation is divided into two phases:

  • Hardscape Installation – Can be executed year-round.
  • Softscape Installation – Scheduled primarily during fall and spring to ensure optimal plant establishment and long-term success.

This structured process ensures clarity at every stage, efficient implementation, and a finished landscape that is both functional and attractive.
