Site Analysis

Each project begins with a detailed review of the existing architecture and topography. This information is typically translated into a three-dimensional model of the site, providing a comprehensive understanding of its opportunities and constraints before the design phase begins. For smaller projects or targeted interventions, the design process may be streamlined and presented as a quick two-dimensional sketch rather than a full 3D model.

Design Development

The design process consists of two essential phases, that can be offered separately:

  • Hardscape Design – The structural framework of the landscape, including paths, patios, and built features that define circulation and anchor the outdoor space.
  • Softscape Design –The living elements of the landscape. Thoughtfully selected plantings introduce texture, movement, and seasonal interest while complementing the hardscape.

Once the hardscape framework is established and approved, the planting design is developed and presented as a clear two-dimensional plan.

Installation

Installation typically occurs in two phases:

  • Hardscape Installation – Completed year-round.
  • Softscape InstallationInstalled primarily in fall and spring to support healthy plant establishment.

This structured process ensures clarity at every stage, efficient implementation, and a finished landscape that is both functional and attraction.
